Misato and Kaji remeet; but the first formal battle of Shinji and Asuka is a disaster; it's time for a better plan.

After few days from the Asuka's landing on Japanese ground, she has impressed the entire male population of the school already... except the "three idiots", that met with the true personality of the second child, and now "works" selling Asuka photos (with Kensuke's camera) to their classmates. At the school, Asuka tries to impose her position as the best pilot to Rei, just to get an inexpressive answer from she, who tells Asuka that they'll be friends if Gendoh tells her to. After few moments, Shinji returns home, while a DHL transport is going through the street. At his room, he notices that all his things are in a small box, while the entire room is full of DHL boxes. To multiply his surprise, these boxes belongs to Asuka who has recently moved to Misato's house and will use Shinji's room. Later, Misato communicates to Shinji and Asuka that a new angel has appeared at the radar on the coast, and they with their Evas will be launched to attack, the plan is accomplished almost exactly, but Asuka gets a terrible surprise: the angel (after being cut in two) regenerates in two pieces and defeats easily the Eva 01 and 02 to Misato's desperation.
