The beatiful third child "Asuka" reaches Japan; we have a demonstration of what a personality she has.
Over the Pacific Ocean, Misato, Shinji, Tohji and Kensuke are travelling in a helicopter. Misato says that this date will be fun, words that moves Tohji who explains that he bought his cap for this special moment. Kensuke is very excited with the idea of travelling in a war helicopter and he turns crazy when Misato says that they are going to meet a UN convoy: the "Over the Rainbow", the strongest armada of the world which is trasnporting the Eva-02 and its pilot. On board Tohji's cap flies away and he goes after it, until the cap finishes under the shoe of a young girl, who doesn't help him much. Misato introduces the girl as Asuka Langley Sohryu, the second child and Eva-02 pilot. Then, unexpectedly, the wind takes her skirt up, thing which forces Asuka to punish our poor (not so much) male friends, explaining that that was the pay-per-view, thing which offends Tohji, who takes his pants down for bad luck of his another cheek. Asuka asks Misato who is the third child -terrified of the idea that Tohji is the pilot-, Misato introuces Shinji to her. Asuka looks at Shinji and just says "mmm... a little sad".
At the bridge, Misato explains to the Convoy Captain that she has carried a plug for the Eva-02, in case of emergency. The captain replies that he will never allow that insane action, Misato tells him that in case of an emergency the authorite of Nerv is higher, so in that case she will take care of the situation. Then a friendly young man enters in the room and seems to know Misato from a long time (alays so cute in his words), and also to be admired by Asuka.
Not so far something is approaching to the convoy, while our friends are having a "nice" conversation, specially Misato and Kaji. News that Shinji reached 40% of synchronization with his Eva without training start the jealousy of Asuka; who pretends to show Shinji how good pilot she is. For this, she takes Shinji to show how the Eva-02 is; but then something explodes near and Shinji thinks that maybe it could be an angel, chance that Asuka won't loose.

The attack of this unknown thing intrigues the commanders of the armada who attack it with missiles and torpedoes, and in other part Kaji is planning his escape, talking with Gendoh by phone. Shinji and Asuka are trying to start the Eva-02 (with Shinji in a suit for women), against the Commander's orders, with a lot of difficulties, specially by the idea of falling to the water where the Eva-02 (because of the "B" equip) can't fight and that they need to connect the energy plug. With a presentation of Superman, they reach the plug just in the moment the angel goes over them. The Eva-02 using the progressive knife is easily reduced by the Angel's XL size and taken to the sea. Looking at this situation, Kaji escapes in a plane before the indignation of Misato, Tohji and the extasis of Kensuke. Moments after, the Eva-02 is eaten by the angel which forces Misato to take a extreme decission.
The plan seems easy: the two war vessels that left will be evacuated, and then sunk in direction of the Eva's cable that will guide the angel to the vessels. Then, the Eva-02 will open the angel mouth and finally the vessels will shoot with all their power and finally get autodestructed. The plan is executed succesfuly, except that our two pilots took more time than expected for open the angel mouth; but they broke their synchroniztion highest values, as Ritsuko tells Misato in New Tokugawa. Far from there, at Nerv headquarters, Kaji gives Gendoh the shipment that put in danger the entire convoy, the target of the angel: the key of the Human Complementation Project, the first human: Adan.
The next day Tohji, Kensuke and Shinji (the three idiots) are commenting about their adeventure and the bad luck of Shinji, because he has to see Asuka everyday in his work. But a new classmate is introduced to the class, with the horror of our friends, the new pupil writes her name at the board: Souryu Asuka Langlet, with a final "yorishiku". (nice to meet you)
